Commercial roofing for businesses, landlords and managing agents
Offices, shops and parades, warehouses and industrial units, schools and managed residential blocks. A failing commercial roof costs trading as well as repairs, so we plan the work around the building and the people in it.
What we do on commercial buildings
All carried out by our own team:
- Flat roof replacement and refurbishment in torch-on felt and EPDM
- Repairs to felt, EPDM and profiled sheet roofs
- Box gutter and valley lining, and lead and EPDM gutter replacement
- Roof light replacement and sealing, one of the most common leak sources
- Re-roofing pitched roofs on managed blocks and mixed-use buildings
- Planned maintenance visits with dated photographs
Working around a building in use
We programme work around opening hours and occupancy, and provide method statements and risk assessments before anyone arrives. Where a full replacement does not fit one year's budget, we phase it by area and tell you honestly which section needs doing first, which often turns an impossible figure into a plan.
Prices that work in a budget
Our quotes are itemised by area and by item, so they can go straight into a service charge budget, a board paper or a landlord's approval without being rewritten. Where a coating over an ageing but dry membrane will buy several years for a fraction of a replacement, we say so, and where the build-up underneath is wet and a coating would trap the water in, we say that too.
Questions
Can you work out of hours?
Yes, where the building needs it. Tell us at the enquiry, because it changes the price and we would rather quote it properly once.
Do you provide RAMS?
Yes, method statements and risk assessments as standard before we start.
Can you phase the work?
Yes. We often phase larger roofs by area across more than one budget year.
